OUTDOOR LEARNING

A Place-Based Education Centre

GROWING THROUGH NATURE

Following animal tracks through the fields. Listening to the vegetable garden after the rain. Watching fruit slowly ripen on the tree.

At Corte Carezzabella, nature is not simply the setting—it is our greatest teacher.

Every experience begins outdoors, where children, teenagers and adults learn through exploration, curiosity and direct experience.

Our educational philosophy is rooted in Outdoor Education, Experiential Learning and Integral Ecology. We believe that caring for nature helps us care for one another, and that learning becomes more meaningful when it involves the whole body, the senses and genuine relationships.

Our programmes are developed together with Cresco Fuori APS and through collaborations with Italian and international organisations working in the field of outdoor education.

CRESCO FUORI

AN OUTDOOR KINDERGARTEN

Cresco Fuori is an outdoor education project for children aged 3 to 6, where fields, orchards and woodland become everyday classrooms.

Children spend their days exploring, observing, building, climbing, creating and discovering the world through direct experience.

Every season offers new opportunities to grow with confidence, independence and curiosity.

SUMMER CAMPS

SUMMER IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

Harvest vegetables from the garden.
Explore vineyards and woodland.
Cook together.
Play freely.
Our summer camps invite children to spend their days immersed in nature, where even silence and quiet moments become opportunities for observation, imagination and wonder.
Small groups ensure meaningful relationships and unforgettable adventures.

SCHOOLS

LEARNING BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Nature is an extraordinary classroom for teenagers.
Through our Adolescere programme, students step outside the traditional school environment to reconnect with themselves, with their classmates and with the natural world.
Together with teachers, we design tailor-made programmes where learning becomes active, collaborative and deeply engaging.
Fields, vineyards and woodland become places where young people experiment, reflect, solve problems and grow together.

FAMILIES & ADULTS

LEARNING NEVER STOPS

Our farm is a place for the whole community.
Nature has something to teach at every age.

Through workshops, seasonal activities and our Generative Connections in Nature project, we create experiences that strengthen family relationships, wellbeing and our connection with the natural world.

RESEARCH & INNOVATION

A LIVING LABORATORY

Curiosity drives everything we do.
We collaborate with universities, educators and research organisations to explore new ways of learning in nature.
Our projects investigate topics such as creative writing outdoors, innovative relationships between schools and nature, and new educational practices rooted in the rural environment.

We also welcome educators and professionals from across Europe and the United States to exchange ideas and experiences.
